Plants I Noticed While Walking
While taking a walk today, I noticed some plants—some familiar, some completely unknown—and decided to share photos of them. From narrow alleys and wall cracks to spots beside bicycles and under utility poles, these are places we usually pass by without a second glance. But today, I paused for a moment and took their pictures.
I photographed them as if speaking to them quietly, appreciating their beauty even without knowing their names. Often, we call plants we don’t recognize simply “weeds.” Yet, taking a moment to look closer, we can see that each plant is alive, thriving in its own place.
Thoughts While Looking Through the Photos
- Does it always have to be beautiful? Even oddly shaped weeds had their charm.
- Under the sunlight, every plant seemed to shine as if it were the main character.
- Calling them “weeds” feels unfair—they are living their own lives in their spaces.
I considered looking up their names, but somehow, not knowing felt better, so I stopped. Plants, like people, don’t need names to be remembered.
Next time, I might refine this collection, but for now, I leave it as it is, casually shared.
If you happen to know the names of any plants in these photos, please leave a comment. In that moment, these nameless scenes may find a place in someone else’s memory.
Random Photo Album (Names are tentative)

So many plants thrive quietly around us, regardless of their surroundings. Pausing to observe them reminds us to appreciate life around us—even if we don’t know their names.
